Fourth Form Pupil Performs in Festival of Remembrance

On Saturday, Malakai B, Fourth Form, performed Pie Jesu in the Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, the annual national commemoration of those who have served. In the presence of the Royal Family and the Prime Minister, the fallen are remembered through words, song and storytelling.

Malakai said: "Thank you for trusting me with this performance which pays tribute to the Armed Forces Community and all those that have served and sacrificed from Britain and the Commonwealth."

For an event of this kind, the organisers require a cover in case Malakai were unable to perform.
Five members of the Schola Cantorum, Daniel C, Christy C, Matteo W, Morgan W, and Pietro V, were on standby and had the opportunity to rehearse in the Royal Albert Hall on Friday and, like Malakai, were wonderful ambassadors for the school.

Well done on a beautiful performance, Malakai, once again representing the Vaughan on the national stage. You can watch the Festival of Remembrance here on
