Women of the Year Alumnae Event

Last term, a group of our Sixth Form pupils were invited by the Chair of the Women of the Year Alumnae Club, Lady Louise Vaughan, to support a lunch event for the Alumnae Club.

The pupils listened to an impassioned speech by Helen Fry, author of Women in Intelligence – The Hidden History of Two World Wars. Helen is also an ambassador for the National Centre for Military Intelligence (NCMI) and serves as a trustee of both the Friends of the Intelligence Corps Museum and the Medmenham Collection

The next event will take place on Wednesday 17 January, and four more Sixth Form pupils will have the opportunity to attend and hear further inspiring speeches.

Thank you to Lady Louise Vaughan, a member of the Vaughan family, with whom the school maintains close links, and the Women of the Year Alumnae Club for including Vaughan pupils at the event, where they had the opportunity to network with professionals from a range of industries. Thank you also to Ms Whelan, Associate Head and Head of Upper School, for arranging this.
