The Duke of Edinburgh award is the world’s leading
achievement award for young people. Its balanced programme of activities
develops the mind, body and soul in an environment of social interaction and
team working. It encourages young people to take greater responsibility and
maturity for their development. Pupils who participate in the
award at the school will begin at Bronze level, then Silver and finally
Gold. Activities for the award will be after school and some
weekends.
