We have now confirmed the following dates and speakers for our 2016 Leadership Lecture Series:

•    Monday 7 March – Dame Colette Bowe DBE: 'Can you run a successful business ethically?'

6.30 pm in the New Hall

Dame Colette Bowe has worked in the City, in regulation and in Whitehall.

She is chairman of the Banking Standards Board (BSB), chairman of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, as well as serving on the boards of the UK Statistics Authority, the Nuffield Foundation and the Department for Transport. Dame Colette is also a Visiting Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford. 

A former chairman of Electra Private Equity plc and of Ofcom, Dame Colette has also served on the boards of Morgan Stanley International, Axa Investment Managers, Goldfish Bank, the Yorkshire Building Society, London and Continental Railways and Thames Water Utilities. She was the founding chairman of the telecoms Ombudsman Service and of the Ofcom Consumer Panel, and chaired the Council of Queen Mary, University of London.

•    Tuesday 19 April – Mr Kevin Hyland OBE

Mr Hyland is the United Kingdom’s first Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner, leading efforts to tackle slavery and human trafficking. He was formerly head of the London Metropolitan Police Service’s Human Trafficking Unit.

All of the School’s Leadership Series events are free of charge and are open to members of the public to attend.
