SCHOLA SING IN THE BBC PROMS

Members of the Vaughan's Schola Cantorum will appear at the BBC Proms this coming Friday, September 10, when they will join the Monteverdi Choir, directed by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, for the four hundredth anniversary performance of the Monteverdi Vespers. The concert is to be broadcast live on BBC Television and Radio from The Royal Albert Hall.

Following this, the boys will tour with the work, appearing at the Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford and Durham Cathedral.

Tickets for the prom are sold out but it is possible to attend by joining the queue on the evening for the Promenade and Gallery standing positions.
