School of Joy Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

Cardinal Vaughan has a long and extremely successful history of philanthropic works and has many connections with charitable organisations. One of our long-standing connections has been with the School of Joy in Bethlehem, a school for boys and girls with learning difficulties, many of whom have been abandoned.  This year Cardinal Vaughan would like to help the School of Joy and its students celebrate Christmas by running our own Christmas shoe box appeal.  We would therefore appreciate any donations you are able to make, either a fully wrapped shoe box with presents inside, or any presents that could be included.   Please drop any contributions to reception no later than 1 November.

Things you could include:
Colouring pencils, colouring in books, any kind of stationery, soft toys, games like snakes and ladders, scarves, hats, bouncy ball, interesting post cards, small books, flower press kit, figurines, playing cards, sketchbook, stickers.

Please do not include:
Sweets; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.

Thank you in advance for your support and generosity in this venture.
