Love and Service Fund
"We are the Centenary generation and we can all be proud that we are doing it right." Paul Stubbings, Headmaster
In recent years, we have been overwhelmed by the support from the Vaughan community and both individuals and families who have stepped forward to give generous gifts for the benefit of others. Our fundraising campaign Amare et Servire: A Second Century of Love and Service played a central role in strengthening the school. As a result of its success, we were able to make vital investments and the impact on our pupils and the wider Vaughan community has been profound.
On 7 June 2016, the Headmaster launched the Love and Service Fund (formerly known as the Governors Fund), uniting all streams of fundraising at the Vaughan for one common and urgent goal: to maintain the excellent standard of education, exceptional facilities and wide range of opportunities offered to all pupils. To do this we need to be able to continue to invest in our three key priority areas: People, Programmes and Projects.
The reduction in state funding and cuts to education grants mean that the school now needs more support than ever before in order to remain self-determining and ensure a successful future. We want to continue to provide the same exceptional education we have always offered our pupils, regardless of their background. We therefore ask all families, friends and Old Vaughanians to consider how they can best support the school, by volunteering their time or by making a pledge or making a gift to the school at a level that is right for them.
We would be very happy to discuss the fund further with you and answer any questions you have. Please contact the Development Director Hannah Thackwray at firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 7605 0036 if you would like to talk about Love and Service or about making a pledge to support the work of the Vaughan.
