Giving Day 2024

To launch our CVMS 110 campaign, celebrating 110 years of excellence in Catholic education at the Vaughan, we are hosting a Giving Day on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 October 2024. This is an opportunity to work together as a community and raise funds for our school. 

This year our priorities are:

Our Catholic Identity: Renovating our Chapel, which is at the heart of our school.

Accelerating Refurbishment: Refurbishments are essential to pupil wellbeing and academic success. This includes staff and pupil toilets.

Maintaining Academic Excellence: Our commitment to smaller class sizes and additional subject teaching requires additional funding to top up the state provision.

Donations can be made via the 'Ways to Give' page, but Giving Day is not just about fundraising. There are many different ways in which you can be involved, including:

• Take part in our Read-a-thon: If our whole community can read over 1,100 pages over the 36 hours, a donation from members of the Vaughan Parents Book Club will be made to Giving Day. Submit your pages here. 
• Spreading the word amongst friends, family, and fellow parents
• Follow us on the day, sharing and liking our posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Helping us promote the event on social media by liking and sharing posts and using the hashtags #CVMSGivingDay and #CVMS110
• Supporting your children taking part in Giving Day activities at school and Own Clothes Day on Wednesday 23 October (£2 via ParentPay)
• Participate from home in one of our brilliant Giving Day challenges and unlock our sponsored match funding
