Ambition Institute Conference for NPQSL
Published Tuesday 14 January 2025
On Monday 13 January, The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School hosted a conference organised by the Ambition Institute, focusing on the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).
Accredited by the Department for Education (DfE), National Professional Qualifications are a nationally recognised suite of qualifications for teachers and school leaders at all levels; from those who want to develop expertise in high quality teaching practice, to those leading multiple schools across a trust or other group of schools.
This event brought together educational leaders and aspiring senior leaders from across the region to engage in a day of seminars, discussions, and networking opportunities. Presenters included Mr Kehoe, Deputy Head, and Dr Lanigan, Deputy Head.
Attendees learned how to identify effective solutions, developed a framework for more effective decision-making, and reflected on how school leaders can support all pupils to receive high-quality teaching.
