CVMS Pupil Amongst Top 15 of 40,000 Young Speakers in Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge

Congratulations to Fourth Form pupil, Toby Y, who has been offered a place at the 2024 Grand Final of Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge on Monday 8 July at the Cambridge Theatre in London’s West End. The Jack Petchey's Speak Out Challenge is an initiative launched in 2006 which aims to help students find their voices and show their capabilities to their peers and communities. 

This year, nearly 40,000 young people have participated in Jack Petchey’s Speak Out Challenge and Toby is one of the top 15 that has won a place to speak at the Grand Final! Congratulations on this incredible achievement and best of luck for the final, Toby. 

Toby with the former Lord Mayor of Westminster City Council, Patricia McAllister (2023-24) at the Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster regional finals in February 2024 where he was awarded first place.
