CVMS Pupil In Top 1.5% of the Senior Maths Challenge

On Tuesday 1 October 64 Sixth Form Mathematicians took part in the Senior Maths Challenge. The SMC is a prestigious international competition with over 70,000 students taking part annually. Students in the top 66%, 33% and 11% receive Bronze, Silver and Gold Certificates respectively.

This year 20 pupils from CVMS achieved Bronze, 21 achieved Silver and the following achieved Gold certificates and qualified for the Senior Kangaroo. Lavinia M, Michael S, Elio H, Thea P-G, Nikolas T-C, Michel T, Natalie D-R, Nathan D’H, Stephen M-T and Augustin O.

Further congratulations go to Augustin who achieved in the top 1.5% and qualified for the British Olympiad round 1.
