Imperial Science in Medicine Competition

Last week, we were delighted to hear that the team representing CVMS for the Imperial Science In Medicine Competition achieved first place, beating over 70 other schools in a multi stage competition.

Their project involved planning and building a new particulate matter filter and sensor for the London Underground, aiding those afflicted by lung diseases. Our students are very grateful to Imperial College for the opportunity to have competed in such a prestigious contest, and to be able to talk to respected Imperial academics, and encourage as many science students as possible to participate next year!
