New Schola CD Jesu, meine Freude

Jesu, meine Freude (Jesus, my Joy), the Schola's new CD is now available.

Recorded last March, following the choir's trip to the Thomaskirche in Leipzig, the recording contains Bach's motet Jesu, meine Freude, plus works by William Byrd, Palestrina and Sir James MacMillan. It also contains a bonus track performance by Malakai B of an aria from the St John Passion with musicians from St James's Baroque.

Here is the first chance to hear a track from the new recording - Palestrina's Super flumina Babylonis - the entire album can be streamed from 11 October.
