Parliament and Supreme Court Trip
Published Thursday 21 November 2024
Last Wednesday, 27 Upper and Lower Sixth Form Politics pupils visited the Houses of Parliament and the UK Supreme Court.
Pupils were taken on a tour of Parliament and then had the unique opportunity for a question and answer session with four members of the House of Lords. Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School is the only school who have had this opportunity this year and the event has been recorded to be shared with schools across the country.
In the afternoon, our pupils visited the Supreme Court where they visited each of the court rooms and took part in a mock court case.
Thank you to Mr Fergusson, Teacher of History & Politics, and Mr Hannam, Second in charge of Social and Political History, for accompanying the trip.
