Round 4 of the Rugby National Vase

Well done to the 1st XV rugby team who have progressed to Round 5 of the National Vase Competition, following an outstanding 32-10 victory against Southend High School for Boys.

After a long coach journey, the team fell behind to the Essex opposition, before settling into the game and taking control. Tries were scored by Joseph B, Finn G, Ander C and Giovanni M, with Tadgh F keeping the scoreboard moving with two conversions and a penalty. A massive congratulations to all the boys involved for a stunning team effort.

This is the furthest a Cardinal Vaughan rugby side has progressed in a National Tournament. The team is now into the Regional London and South East Final and will face Tiffin School at Twickenham on Wednesday 20 November at 2 pm.
