Sixth Form Pupil Performs at the MOBO Awards

During the half term, Upper Sixth Form pupil Lucas G played an incredible trumpet solo at the opening performance of this year's MOBO Awards with British rapper, Bashy.

Ashley Thomas, better known as Bashy, won the top prize for Album of the Year as well as Best Hip-Hop Act, following a 15-year hiatus in his music career.

On his Instagram page, Bashy credited Lucas, saying: "What made [the performance] extra special was 18 year old Lucas, a trumpet player from West London sharing the stage."
