Sumo Wrestling

On Friday, 17th October, 40 students participating in the Computing & Cultural Trip to Japan in July 2026 visited the Royal Albert Hall to witness a spectacular Sumo wrestling performance. The event showcased 40 of the world’s top Sumo wrestlers.

The students enjoyed a series of thrilling matches and gained insight into the deep cultural significance and history of the sport. This experience served as a valuable introduction and preparation for what awaits them in Japan next July.
