Congratulations and thank you to our Team Vaughan runners: Alix L; Keeran S; Tadhg F; Ciaran L; Jonny C; Thiago L; Alex D; Dimitri K; Mr Bailey; Mr Brett; Mr Cerda; Mr Davies; Dr Lanigan; Mr Mooney; Mr Rumun; Miss Ucan; Miss Vernon-Powell and Mrs McInnes. There were other members of the community running, who we would like to congratulate. Thank you to Mr Brett, Head of First Form & Teacher of Physical Education, and Mr Kehoe, Deputy Headmaster for organising the Team.
Every runner should be incredibly proud of their efforts and many of the runners achieved personal bests. Special mentions must go to the following runners who completed the event in an impressive time of less than 1 hour 30 minutes: Keeran S (45th overall) 1:21:00; Mr Rumun (143rd overall) 1:26:57; Mr Mooney (146th overall) 1:27:13; Mr Brett (147th overall) 1:27:17; Ms Vernon Powell (158th overall / 10th fastest female) 1:27:36.
Finally, a massive thank you to all our community members who cheered on the runners throughout the event, and particularly those who turned the corner of Courtfield Road into a Cardinal Vaughan fortress. We are already looking forward to participating in this event next year!
We understand that there was a technical issue with the donation page over the weekend and those who wanted to support Team Vaughan were unable to. There is still time to make a donation. so please consider making a contribution here.
