The London Borough Athletics Championship

The School's athletes enjoyed great success at The London Borough Athletics Championship at Battersea Park on Saturday, 9 June. 

Congratulations to Fifth Former Dominic Ogbechie on winning the 200m in 21.71 in a new championship best performance, his third title in three different events - breaking a Championship record held since 1979 by Mike Macfarlane.

Third Former Sean Oceng-Engena also achieved an impressive second place in the Long Jump, jumping a personal best of 5.34m, while Fourth Former Matthew Howley ran a fantastic race in the 1500m coming seventh overall. Congratulations also to Casey Augustin, Fourth Form, and Michael Ogbechie, Third Form, who both came a brilliant third place in the 400m and discus respectively.
