Congratulations to Vaughan alumnus Zac Cooney-Quinn (OV 2017), who is playing professional American football for the season in the German American football league with the Munich Cowboys.
American Football has motivated Zac to study a high school diploma at IMG in Florida, USA, a BSc in Psychology from CSP University, Minnesota, USA and he is writing his dissertation for his Master's in Diplomacy and International Relations which he has studied for at St Marys University, Twickenham while he is playing as a professional American Footballer for the Munich Cowboys, Germany.
Zac has previously played at IMG Football Academy, Florida, Concordia University St. Paul, Minnesota, and London Warriors. Zac is also a part of the British national football team, GB Lions.
Mr Murphy, Head of PE, comments: "We are delighted to hear about Zac's progress on the American Football field. During his GCSE studies back in 2015/16, he had a very keen interest in the sport and his goal at that age was to pursue American Football to as high a level as possible. The academic achievements and life experiences the sport has brought him around the world are great to hear."
We look forward to following Zac's progress this season. Best of luck!
